BOCA RATON, FL–(Marketwired – Jul 18, 2013) – Noble Financial
Capital Markets (Noble) announced today that its tenth annual
equity conference will be held at Club Med Sandpiper Bay on January
19-22, 2014. The resort is located about 40 minutes from Palm Beach
International Airport in South Florida (Noble will be providing
round-trip shuttle service). With the change in venue, Noble has
expanded the program from two to three days and is offering several
new meeting formats for corporate executives and institutional
investors. Over the three day, long weekend period, the Club Med
220-acre property will be exclusively used for the Noble “X”
Conference. Noble expects 140 presenting companies with total
attendance of more than 500.
“2014 is a special year for us from several perspectives,” said
Mark Pinvidic, Noble’s Managing Partner. “Not only is it our 10th
conference, it’s also our 30th year in business. Taking over the
entire Club Med resort is an exciting way to start the year,” he
said. With the exception of the conference being held at the same
time period for the last three years, virtually every other aspect
of the conference will change for 2014. “After each conference we
solicit feedback and try and incorporate as many new elements as we
can in order to deliver the value attendees are looking for,” said
Pinvidic. “We are confident that the program we can provide through
Club Med will exceed expectations.”
Five of the past nine conferences were held at the Hard Rock
Hotel near the Ft. Lauderdale airport. The contrast of venues will
be immediately apparent to repeat attendees. The high-energy
environment of a casino setting will be replaced with the
characteristic beauty and rustic charm of the Florida Peninsula.
The beach-house décor of the rooms, restaurants and reception
areas at Club Med reflect an overall Florida Keys theme which
stands in stark contrast to the Vegas-style, rock and roll
décor themed Hard Rock. Noble believes that the new venue is
ideal for stimulating dialogue among participants in ways that are
difficult to achieve at most other venues, particularly considering
that the only guests at the resort for the three-day period will be
Noble Conference attendees.
In addition to formal presentations and scheduled one-on-one
meetings, the new format will feature assigned seating lunches and
dinners — to encourage dialogue between executives and investors
– sector-specific breakouts, three social networking events and a
“sports and fitness” break. The latter is made possible by Club
Med’s superlative athletic program. In addition to an 18-hole golf
course, world-class tennis instruction and facilities (led by Gabe
Jaramillo who has trained eight number-one players in the world
including Andre Agassi and Monica Seles, and 28 top ten players),
sailing, yoga and even flying trapeze. The spa at Club Med is
operated by L’Occitaine and is the only one of its kind outside of
France. Also new for 2014 is the addition of a spouse /
partner and children’s program to encourage attendees to bring
their families.
